B&B La gioia dei sensi

We spent two nights at La Gioia dei Sensi and left with lovely memories. The hosts were always helpful with our needs and gave us great tips for Vitorchiano and the nearby area. Breakfast was generous, with something for every taste. Even with the unpredictable weather, the property's strategic location made it easy to plan our days at the last minute and fit in all the experiences we wanted around Viterbo. The room had everything we needed to make hot tea, was clean, and had blackout curtains that kept the outside light out at night. Two very sweet dogs and a cat live at the house and kept us company during the few morning hours we were there. We hope to come back.

The rooms are bright, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are kind, attentive, and easy to approach. They made us feel welcome while giving us space. B&B La Gioia dei Sensi is clean and tastefully furnished, with thoughtful details throughout that create a calm, relaxing feel as soon as you arrive. Its location works well for seeing the area while still enjoying some peace. We had a pleasant stay in every respect, and the property's hospitality and quality really stand out. We stayed for three nights in August, my twelve-year-old son and I, and had such a lovely time. The room was clean and cozy, out in the quiet countryside, and the two owners were delightful and helpful. Breakfast was homemade, plentiful, and really good. We also bought a boat trip on the lake and loved the views and the lovely company of the B&B owner and her daughter. The pool was there for guests, and my son jumped straight in. Then there was Snoopy, the friendly, affectionate dog who kept wagging his tail. My son got so attached that he cried when we left. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We came with friends and were all very happy with our stay. The owners were gracious and helpful, and made us feel at home. The place is tucked into the quiet green countryside, yet only a short walk from the beautiful historic centers of Tuscia. Anne's French style comes through in the lovely furnishings, and every detail is cared for. Breakfast was sumptuous, with homemade treats by the talented Stefano, served on a first-floor patio enclosed by windows and looking out onto a wonderful view.
