Hotel Vittoria is in a convenient, central part of Vittoria, and there’s a nearby café for breakfast. It was hard to communicate because nobody on staff spoke English, so we had to use google translator. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations, though. It was good value for money, and paying for my stay upfront didn’t seem strange to me. That’s how things are nowadays.

The beds were comfortable, and the price was very cheap for such a super central location. It’s a small hotel.

The way I was treated was incredibly rude. I booked two nights and paid for the first one straight away, though I could have paid for both in advance. At noon on the first morning, they kept waking me and asked from the doorway for payment for night two, as though I planned to leave without paying. I was staying there because I needed to go to the disco two nights in a row, but was told coming back at 5 was too late, even though I thought I could return to a hotel whenever I wanted. At 7 in the morning there was already a lot of noise and a dog barking. I asked them not to clean my room, but they came in anyway. It all felt absurd and obviously prejudiced. The second morning, I left the room at 10 as requested. I’d only suggest this place if you’re happy to behave as if you’re staying at grandpa’s house.
