The breakfast was superb, with plenty of food, and my daughter was amazed by the place. We spent three nights at B&B Il Gelso Nero for a wedding, and Pamela and her husband made us feel welcome right away. It’s surrounded by nature, with animals and a pool, and is quiet, green, and relaxing. I’d highly recommend it and hope to come back with the whole family. Matteo

We had a great time and will definitely come back. The rooms were spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, and there’s a large veranda outside with loungers and a drying rack. The only small thing I noticed was that there wasn’t another mirror beyond the one in the bathroom. There are several animals and some children’s games, which were much appreciated, and guests can use the very large pool even when it’s rented to external clients. We picked the B&B for a wedding in Ragusa because it’s 10 minutes from Comiso airport and 15-20 minutes from the nearest beach. The hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was well stocked with sweet and savory choices, including local products we really appreciated. They also accommodated food intolerances, and the lady specially made lactose-free cakes for us.

From August 1st to 5th, 2024, we stayed in the countryside at this B&B, in a wonderfully peaceful setting. Our daughters loved the small playground and farm animals, and the pool was well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a big veranda outside. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of sweet treats made by the owner. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the property is about a 20-minute drive from the most interesting places to see. I’d return.

We found a lovely place where we could spend a peaceful day without going far from the city. I organized a small birthday party for my daughter and her classmates, and the setup felt safe and secure. The restroom was nearby and convenient, so I could keep an eye on the children. It was also easy for my husband to get around in his wheelchair, between the gazebos, restroom, and even the hot tub. What a wonderful discovery. ❤️ The staff were very friendly and always available, especially when guests are polite and respectful. I recommend it.

The pool was small, but just right for a refreshing dip after a day on the motorbike. Pamela gave us a warm welcome and was ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful, and the cakes were delicious.
