Our suite had plenty of room for six, and the high ceiling gave it a luxurious feel. It had three bedrooms, including one with a two-person bathtub, plus two bathrooms, a kitchen, a balcony, and even a sauna room, which we didn’t try. The hosts were very welcoming and always available. Breakfast had lots of choices. Outside, there’s a large pool with loungers, a jacuzzi, swings, and a slide.

Viverone sits on a steep slope, and from the top of the village you get amazing views to the west. We joined Just Go Holidays for a food and wine tour of Piedmont and stayed at Hotel Royal. The views were beautiful, the breakfasts good, and the evening dinners great. The staff were very friendly, and I’d stay at Hotel Royal again.

There were plenty of restaurants and bars a short walk away along the lake. The rooms were clean, and reception was very friendly. It was a perfect stop on our road trip from the UK down into Italy. Would recommend.

The bar and restaurant were closed because the hotel was hosting a wedding, and the restaurant they sent us to near the lakefront had no tables available. Everything there was already booked, which made the evening a total disaster. The staff made us feel unwanted, like we were an inconvenience. We’d had high hopes after Camino Ways booked us here while we walked the Via Francigena. The information said the hotel overlooks the lake, but our room faced a wall instead of having a view.

A large, airy, warm room and friendly staff. Breakfast included a homemade omelette, with plenty of other choices as well. Excellent location.
