Agriturismo Podere Marcampo

Marcampo has gorgeous farm views across Tuscany and excellent wines, with a warm welcome too. The cooking classes and dinner were a one-of-a-kind taste of Toscana. Thanks, Claudia and Ivana!

In the middle of the Tuscan hills, Claudia welcomed us with such warmth. She talked us through the farm’s history and vineyards with real passion, from the first stone right up to the present, and made us feel comfortable throughout. Her expertise continued in the cellar, where we saw the whole winemaking process, from harvest through bottling. We finished with a tasting of the farm’s wines alongside local cured meats and cheeses. A wonderful experience, absolutely recommended.

We had a lovely birthday visit at Podere Marcampo for my husband. The landscape was so peaceful, and Claudia and all her staff were wonderful. We arrived a little late for the wine tour, but Claudia accommodated us and translated into English. The room in the local quarters was cozy, with a large bed for two, a smaller one for one, and a full bathroom inside the quarters. The outdoor pool was just right and set a lovely mood for the evening. In the morning, breakfast was a buffet with bread and jam, assorted meats and cheese, cereal, fruit, cake, water, juice, and fresh coffee made to order. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A must for nature lovers and people who appreciate Tuscany at its best. Thanks again, Claudia. We’d love to come back!

The property is well maintained, with beautiful mountain scenery and vineyards all around. Unfortunately, the rooms aren’t insulated, so you can hear people and every bit of foot traffic from upstairs, next door, and outside.
