Tuscany Forever Residence

Villa Acquaviva gave us a lovely week with the kids. We stayed for 7 days at the end of September 2025, and all of us enjoyed every minute. The pool isn’t heated, so it was a little chilly, but the kids still had a wonderful time. The villa has a relaxed mix of comfort, simple contemporary design, and rustic countryside character, with plenty of room to spend time together. There are three upstairs bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed, and one with two single beds. Two of the three bathrooms are upstairs, with the other downstairs. The open kitchen and living area had everything we needed, and the garden has amazing countryside views and a fun little playset for kids. We liked how the stone, wood, and ceramics sit alongside the modern design, with indoor and outdoor spaces flowing together. The exterior shutters let in a lovely breeze. Wi-Fi worked well, though we tried not to use it much on vacation. There’s a washing machine and a nice drying rack, but no dryer. The villa is perfectly placed for enjoying the countryside and landscaped grounds. Montescudaio is just a 3-minute drive away, or a scenic 10-15 minute uphill walk, with a bakery, butcher, wine shops, restaurants, and cafes. Pisa, Lucca, the beach, Volterra, and other hill towns are good options for day trips. We especially liked dreamy Casselle Marittimo. By day two, my wife had become an expert at making café and cappuccino.

What made the stay feel so welcoming was the kind hosts. They were always happy to answer questions and offered great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated, and had everything I needed. It was peaceful with lovely Tuscan views, while still close enough to visit charming towns and local sights. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. I’d gladly recommend it for a relaxing, authentic-feeling stay in Tuscany.

Tuscany Forever is a trip I’ll remember for a long time. The hills and olive trees made a stunning setting, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. One special moment was watching a lovely couple get married there. The apartments are comfortable, the pools are great for relaxing, and the whole place feels warm and easygoing. I’d happily come back.

The view was magnificent, and we had a lovely week here as a family of six. The villa is beautifully built and appointed, with comfortable beds. Our two-year-old was well catered for too: a crib, highchair, toys, a dollhouse, a doll, and a stroller were provided. It was so convenient to eat at the on-site restaurant, whose proprietor was very accommodating. We could also get coffee and a pastry there in the morning. We'd love to return, and I highly recommend it.
