Mario was a delight, always friendly and happy to help with any request. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well placed for getting around. It has a fast Wi-Fi connection throughout the house, convenient on-site parking, and a garden with an outdoor table where you can relax or eat. The bathroom is roomy and clean, with everything from towels, tablecloths, and placemats to shampoo, shower gel, and toothpaste. We’d gladly return as soon as we can. Highly recommended.

Mario and Santi were so welcoming and attentive. Staying with them was a real pleasure, and their restaurant tips were always excellent. When we said we came on their recommendation, we even got a small discount off the total. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served whenever we wanted, with tea, coffee, milk, croissants, toast, butter, jam, and honey. One morning they also gave us a voucher for a cafe in the center, where the croissants were fantastic. We spent five nights there, with one night at the Sapienza refuge in between. For the first three nights, we were in the apartment below theirs. It was very large and clean, though being in the basement made it quite dark and a little damp. That was fine for us since we only slept there and spent our days hiking on Mount Etna. Our last two nights were in a different apartment nearby. It was smaller but just as clean, and had the benefit of being bright with an outdoor garden. With three of us, I’d choose that second one. We liked it so much that after a week at the beach in Marzamemi, while waiting for our flight from Catania airport, we came back for another night. This time the basement apartment felt much less damp, probably because ten days of good weather between our stays had warmed things up. We’re thinking about coming back to Etna and will definitely stay with Mario and Santi again.

The owners made our stay unforgettable. They’re wonderful people who welcomed us so warmly, were available whenever we needed them, and looked after every need with comfort, courtesy, and kindness. Congratulations on such a lovely stay.
