We were happy with the food at the pizzeria, and the rooms were simple but comfortable. It’s near the center, though the walk uphill takes 20 minutes, so it’s really only for the fittest. Nights can get noisy because of the banquet room downstairs.

The food was the best in the area, and I’d definitely stay here again for work or pleasure. We spent two weeks here with a group of young people on residential. It’s a fascinating, beautiful building, with rooms that were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to support our students’ overseas experience. They really made us feel like part of the family.

We ate at the hotel many times and had some of the nicest meals of our time in Sicily. The aubergine vegetarian pasta was delicious, the house wine went perfectly with it, and breakfast was plentiful, with a good range of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, meat, and cheese. The cappuccino was great too. Marchello and his family are generous and kind, and run a friendly, welcoming hotel. The staff did all they could to make our group feel safe and at home, like part of the family. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the region.

We came for a birthday dinner and would gladly return another time. The room was lovely, the tables were set beautifully, and the staff were kind and friendly. The food was delicate and very good.
