The place is tidy and comfortable, with safe parking within the grounds. The staff are really friendly and helpful, too. It’s great value for money, and well located near seaside villages like Aci Terazza and Aci Castello, while still close to Mt. Etna and Catania.

Villa Vulcano was a really nice base for my trip. I loved staying on the foothills of mount Etna, and it’s ideal if you want to hike the mountain. The cities and beach are also not too far away. I’d recommend it.

The views of Etna from the hotel were breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay, and the room was spacious, with a full size kitchen and all the equipment. The only downside was the sofa beds. Both creaked and weren’t the most comfortable.

I’d definitely visit again. We stayed for one week and had a lovely time. The street was calm and relaxed, and everything was clean and well organized, with a full size kitchen. Having morning coffee with a view et Etna was something special.

Our stay at Villa Vulcano was wonderful. We went in April, when it was quiet and the villa wasn’t crowded, so nights were perfectly silent. The rooms were spacious and clean, as were the bath and shared kitchen, which had enough amenities for everyone. On a clear sunny day, you can see Mount Etna from the shared terrace. We were mainly here to hike Etna, so the location suited us well, though it’s outside the city center and renting a car is preferable if you plan to stay in this area of Catania. The owner/caretaker was always reachable on WhatsApp and took excellent care of everything we needed. I’d highly recommend Villa Vulcano tra l'Etna to anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Mount Etna.
