Armacera Resort

I was sorry we only stayed one night and would definitely come back. The room and beds were very cool and comfortable, the views were great, the beach was wonderful, and the staff were very nice.

My wife and I spent a week here in mid-September, and the whole experience was 10/10. It was extremely good value for the money, with super friendly staff and a great location. Tropea is close enough to visit easily a couple of times during the week. Really nothing bad to say about Armacera Resort.

The rooms are modern and new, the property is private behind its own gate, and breakfast was fairly good. But the price doesn’t match the quality. The beach is quite far away, despite the property advertising its own beach, and restaurant services are also a considerable distance away. I’m comparing this stay with six other accommodations in nearby areas. The modest three-star rating is mainly because the price is relatively high for the services and amenities.

We had a great four-night stay and caught some of our best sunsets from the garden terrace. The rooms were lovely and clean, with especially good cosmetics and bathroom equipment. Staff were kind and attentive. We didn’t mind the short walk to the beach, which was pleasant and had beautiful views, and the shuttle was easy to call when we wanted it. They also arranged a coastal excursion for us, and the whole process was smooth. It’s a good base for driving to different places along the coast. A few things could make the stay even better. Without a car, it’s not easy to find a good dinner nearby, so some dinner options at the resort would help. Drinks service at the beach and nicer sunbeds would fit the quality and design of the rooms up the hill. The garden terraces could use a bit more privacy, with less see-through walls, and massage options might be nice too. Even so, we’d happily come back one day.
