Residence Il Turistico

A lovely place for a summer stay, with amazing people.

Lovely beaches and friendly staff.

The sea is stunning and just a few steps away, which is easily the best thing about this property. It’s family-run, so you feel included and at home, and the restaurant serves home-cooked food at affordable prices. A few things made it less comfortable for us. The houses need some updating, and the bed was very uncomfortable. I don’t find two single beds pushed together a proper or comfortable double. The windows also let noise through, and with another village so close, it was almost impossible to rest when both places were busy. The air conditioning worked, but its thermostat was broken. Despite those issues, we had a pleasant stay. It would be lovely if these small problems could be sorted out. Thanks for the hospitality.

We’ve only just got back, and we already miss the place. It’s peaceful and clean, in a wonderful spot just steps from the sea. The market is excellent too, with top-quality products. Francesco, the owner, keeps an eye on things to make sure they run smoothly. His children, Martina and Giuseppe, are cheerful, welcoming, and always ready to help; you’ll see them at the bar from morning until night. And Franca, their mother, is a fantastic cook who treated us to delicious dinners. I’d highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break by the beautiful Calabrian sea.
