Aldo’s shop on the ground floor has everything you need for a stay in the Modena hills. Agostino and his family are excellent hosts, and the location works well for visits to Zocca and Giulia.

Agostino is a great host, always available for a chat if you feel like it, helpful, knowledgeable, and able to make an excellent breakfast. The B&B is quite literally in the middle of nowhere, yet close to everything. My wife and I stayed to get to Zocca(land), about a 15-minute drive away on a winding but fun road. There’s a shared living room and kitchen downstairs, with two double bedrooms and private bathrooms upstairs. I’ll stay again when I return from Vasco.

Agostino was so kind, helpful, and understanding, and I hope we can come back in August. We spent a weekend in Zocca with the kids and stayed at this lovely B&B. It’s quiet, surrounded by greenery, and has an exceptional view. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and breakfast was generous, with delicious pastries and exquisite prosciutto. Thank you!

Even though I live 500 km away, I’ll stop in when I need to. The landscape, relaxed feel, friendly welcome, and good food make it seem like another dimension. The owner and her equally lovely sister run a delicatessen in the same building, selling traditional products they make themselves. I was amazed by both their friendliness and the quality. You can enjoy authentic Parma ham, Parmigiano Reggiano, and various cured meats, all made in-house. It’s a charming spot for anyone passing through Zocca who wants to switch off and relax. I can’t ask for much more, and I recommend it.

The owner is very friendly, and breakfast is generous. His shop is in the same building, with excellent cured meats, cheeses, and more to buy. The place is clean, has a lovely view, and sits in a very quiet area.
