Such a beautiful place, and we had the best time with lovely people and incredibly delicious food. We felt completely pampered. My heart is so full, and I can’t wait to come back 🥰❤️

Wow, really something!

We spent five days here, and it’s one of the nicest boutique hotels we’ve stayed in. Our room had a sauna and Jacuzzi, and we made lots of use of both during the week. The staff were a joy to talk with, and breakfast was perfect, with coffee made however you like it. From here, either coast or the peninsula is 30-60 minutes away, so it’s a great base for exploring. I can’t recommend the property enough. One tip: make sure to have supper at their restaurant before you leave. We ate there four times and loved every meal.

Palazzo Mandurino brings together history, culture, relaxation, and warm hospitality in a lovely Salento village. The former tobacco factory still has a sense of its past, while the carefully finished rooms feel elegant, comfortable, and authentic without being overdone. Our suite was wonderful, and having a sauna, Turkish bath, and hot tub included made the stay feel especially relaxing. Breakfast was varied, with plenty of sweet and savory choices, served in a bright, spacious room that opens onto a charming cloister with a swimming pool. I also loved the library, tucked into a welcoming, sunlit living room, where you can settle in with a book. The staff were young, knowledgeable, polite, always smiling, and helpful, with a discreet but attentive presence. Highly recommended if you’re after a quality, authentic stay in the heart of Salento.
