The pool gave our grandchildren a place to play while the rest of us could unwind, and our rooms were clean and roomy enough for all six of us. We were in Port Antonio for a wedding, and Stefan made the stay easy. He was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout. Breakfast was included in the meals on offer, and we had it each morning. The Jamaican dishes changed daily, which I especially liked. Lunch and dinner are available too, though the dinner menu is limited at the moment. All Nations Guest House is just that, a guest house, not a five-star hotel. For the reasonable room cost, though, it was very good value. My wife, son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and I had a wonderful time, and we're grateful to Stefan for his hospitality.

The setting is the standout, with a swimming spot below and Gee Jam nearby. The rooms are adequate, but they need updating and were missing plugs and some basics. Service was inconsistent.

That chicken curry at breakfast was amazing. I also loved the quiet, natural feel of the place, especially sitting on the veranda and taking in the view. If you're used to all-inclusive resorts, it's nice to have somewhere peaceful. The Guesthouse is quite dated. It could use a refurbishment, though I wonder if that would make it too expensive, so perhaps it should be left as it is. The staff let the place down for me. They need hospitality training and should be off their phones while working. They could be more helpful, too, with advice about places to visit and things to do in Portland. When I asked for scissors, no one even got up from their chair to look for them.

The breakfast was great, and the A/C was the best part. Beyond that, I wouldn't stay here again. We had a large group spread across both villas, and there were red ants everywhere, including tiny ones I could barely feel. They got inside my phone and charger, and I had to use Off in my room. I asked for spray, but they didn't have any. I was in Sahara, the front villa near the desk. The room wasn't cleaned, and no one asked whether we wanted fresh bedding. I went out expecting it to be done, then came back to sand in my bed. There were no heavier blankets if you wanted one with the A/C. Hot water stopped coming out altogether a few times. When I mentioned it, I was told to let it run for a while, but nothing was coming out. Staff seemed to sit around all day, and security was nowhere to be found at night. Doors and windows were left open day and night, which made it easy for bugs to get in. Edit: I'm not sure who you're talking about. I was in Sahara, near the desk, and the A/C was great, as I said. We were a big group, so perhaps you're confusing me with someone else. I asked for the room to be sprayed, but there wasn't any spray. No one changed my bed or asked if I wanted it changed. I'm glad someone else was looked after, but it wasn't me.

We felt the money was wasted. There was no hot water in the Pangea suite, and our room wasn't clean or ready on time. We also weren't happy with the payment options. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
