The owners were friendly and so helpful, and there are plenty of places nearby to get food. The locals were friendly too. I've stayed here twice, including for freedom concert NYE, and it's a safe, laid back place I'd recommend to other travellers. Rooms are clean, fresh, cool, and a great price.

There isn't much nearby to go out to, and it's a long way from the city. The staff were okay, though that seemed to depend on who was working. The room also needed better cleaning: a huge dead cockroach was in the kitchen, the pillows smelled, and an old, unnecessary armchair in the corner made the room smell too.

Syl made me feel welcome right away. He's warm, genuine, and a lovely guy. I've stayed at this lovely place twice while travelling around Jamaica, and I'd happily return.

We only stayed one night, but had a great time. Everyone working there was warm and welcoming, especially Syl. Thanks so much, we need more people like him!

The bathroom and kitchen were in bad shape. The bathroom was dirty and smelled strongly of cockroaches, and the kitchen smelled horrible too. The cupboard plates were all dirty, there was rotting food in the fridge, and cupboards still held items from the previous guest. Outside, loud music played through the night every weekend in the middle of a grisson community. For the condition, the place was overpriced, and it wasn't a comfortable spot for a quiet few days.
