We went with my family planning to stay for a week, but the hotel's condition made us leave after just one night. We paid $10,000 for that night, yet the pool was dirty, there was no restaurant, and we had no hot water. It felt more like a motel than a hotel. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

After a 10-hour flight, my husband and I stayed here for one night on 23rd nov 2024. We'd been before and thought it was okay for a one-night stop, so we tried it again. We were in room 5, which had a fan, but there was no hot water and the bathroom wasn't clean. They didn't tell us the checkout time. We assumed it was noon, as on our previous stay, but at 10.45 someone knocked to say we had to leave because checkout was nearly 11. We had to rush to pack. I left my long wollen coat hanging in the room and realized it was missing when I went to get something from its pocket. We were heading to the countryside, so my husband called and asked them to put it aside for a few days for us to collect. The woman said nobody had reported finding it in the room. He explained that we'd just left it and described it, and she told us to call the next day so she could check with staff. For the next 2 months we kept calling and got nowhere. I returned to the UK in the cold without a coat. The cleaner had been waiting for us to leave, and I saw her enter the room, so I know who had it. They must be desperate to take a thick winter coat. The hotel did nothing about it. They also hold church services there, which didn't seem very Christian to me. They should have fired the cleaner, and I should have received compensation to buy another coat. Avoid this hotel. Your belongings, even your clothes, don't feel safe there.

The one decent room I got kept the stay from being completely awful, but there were serious problems. I looked at several rooms: some had broken A/C, and some sheets were stained instead of fully white. In my room, the fridge smelled bad and the bathroom tiles weren't clean. One room had no phone, and they said the elevator had been out of service for a while. The furniture was old, and in one room the bed underneath the sheets was torn up and worn out. The windows hadn't been cleaned either. The service lady refused to lower the price despite the poor condition. Customer service was terrible. Check the rooms wherever you go.

The younger receptionist at the front desk deserves credit, she's the best, keep it up. But the stay itself was disgusting, the worst experience I've had. Rooms without A/C were uncomfortable, and there wasn't even a fan provided. In another room, a rat came out of the large A/C unit and ran onto the bed. Something serious needs to be done about this so-called motel or hotel. I won't stop talking about it until real changes happen.

I really enjoyed my stay at Olympia. Faith apostolic church is next door, with a lovely choir and a great sermon. At the hotel, the staff and other guests were welcoming, the pool was lovely, and there was plenty of space in the field to play sports. Half Way Trees is within walking distance, and Uber ride safe. Thanks to Mrs. Blake and the lovely staff and friends who shared information about activities I could join and ital food to enjoy. Happy National Heroes Week! #JahBless
