Reggae Legends Estate

Honestly, the place is super nice. I booked for 4days and it was way better than anywhere else I've been b4.

The view is 100, but getting there means a long, winding drive with too many cliffs. After that difficult drive, the food portions felt way too small. The bathrooms need an upgrade, and they're currently working on the infrastructure.

The Blue Mountains setting was spectacular, surrounded by lush forest, and the Reggae Legends Villa estate is huge, with balconies, a pool, and distinctive, well-appointed rooms with air conditioning. Spending a night there felt like the crown jewel of our first trip to Jamaica. The warm welcome stood out most. We connected with everyone we met, the hostess, mixologist and waitress, chef, and owner Andrew with his reggae legend dad. We had drinks and dinner on the outdoor patio as the sun went down over the hills. Once darkness settled, the mountain tops blended into the evening sky. The coconut shrimp with rice and peas and sautéed veggies was the standout, made with care and absolutely delicious. The hosts played old-school reggae on their amazing sound system because they knew we loved it, and introduced us to some of their current favorites too. They went above and beyond to bless us during our stay. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience, one we'll always remember fondly. The hills give you a peaceful break without putting you too far from the city, and the sunset views are lovely. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. A really relaxing stay.
