Great vibes here, and I really enjoyed my stay. It's close to the Bob Marley museum and a food plaza that even has a vegan restaurant. The bathrooms/toilets are a long way from the dorm, but that didn't bother me.

I booked this hostel in Jan for an April stay and was told the deposit would only be £10. Instead they charged me the full amount, and now they're not responding to my emails or calls.

The coffee shop next door is nice, and the staff were nice too. But this was easily the worst hostel I've stayed in. It felt more like a homeless shelter, with kids running wild while their parents ignored them, and noise going on all night. People were signing. The bathrooms were disgusting, and every guest gave me a dirty look like I didn't belong. This place must only be for locals.

The staff were helpful and knew their way around, and the common areas were okay. It's a decent hostel with one large, modern dorm, AC, and filtered water. The laundry rates are crazy expensive. Unfortunately, another guest shouldn't have been allowed to stay there. He was Jamaican and bullied other guests into paying for "tours" by ripping them off when they just went out for a drink.

The showers were the one part that wasn't clean. Otherwise the hostel was clean, the wifi was fast and reliable, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. For the price, it was perfectly fine.
