Tropical Manor Inn

We came with a large group, and Elise on staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Shops, plazas, gas stations, and groceries are all close by, about a five-minute walk in the heart of town. The rooms need some modernizing, but they have the basics for a night's rest: TV, air conditioning, microwave, and WiFi. It's a good fit if you're out and about during the day and mainly need somewhere to sleep. I'd stay again.

The bed was extra comfy, which was a real plus. The staff were professional, the amenities were just right, and the atmosphere felt relaxing, like home away from home.

For one night, the room was clean and good value, and the location was phenomenal. I picked it because I could walk to where I needed to go, and it's a good place for a quick overnight stay. The service was terrible, though. I was told to leave a 1000 JMD deposit for the room key and TV remote, then someone pointed toward the room with one finger.

It's a quiet place to stay, with adequate parking and light snacks and drinks for sale at reception. I had a satisfactory two-day visit and would return if I needed to. The location is central, around five minutes from Half Way Tree, and the staff were welcoming. My room was a decent size with a kitchenette, full-size fridge, and microwave, and the bathroom was spacious with warm water. There were some issues, though. The cable wasn't working during my stay, so I could only watch YouTube, and the WiFi was very limited. The rooms could use a small upgrade, but nothing was unbearable.
