I've been here quite a few times for meetings and have never encountered any rudeness, though I didn't interact much with the staff, so I can't say much about them. The meeting rooms are comfortable, the catering is good, and the IT facilities are adequate. It's a good venue for small to medium conferences or symposiums, with plenty of parking and shade from the trees.

A safe place to stay, especially if your children attend the university. You can explore the university and stay here to see their induction and graduation.

The grounds are the best part, with lovely garden views, ruins, and mountains. The room itself was comfortable enough and had a mini fridge and cable TV. It works well if you need to be on campus, but the amenities feel dated. Nobody explained where to park or when some of the gates close. Breakfast runs from 7 to 9, which is early for some people. For what it costs, it feels overpriced, though I guess the location is what you pay for.

We had our wedding reception here, and the staff were a huge help. They arranged a package that included an overnight stay at the Lodge, and our room was nicely set up. Breakfast was served too, which made the whole experience really pleasant. The place feels very professional, and the rooms are much like hotel rooms.

The setting and service were fine, but I was disappointed by the limited meat choices. The chicken had run out by 1:15 p.m. I might enjoy this place more if I just stopped in for a drink instead of having a meal.
