Ms. Pat, the hostess, is so kind and always willing to help. She made sure my family and I were comfortable, and the hardworking staff kept everything clean. The other guests we met were warm and friendly too. There are several fruit trees, and guests are welcome to pick fruit. It really feels like a home away from home. A lovely place.

I left at 6 in the morning even though I’d booked four days. When I complained, the host said, “Well, we are not a hotel.” I still haven’t had a follow-up on my refund request. She also made inappropriate comments that made me uncomfortable. I’d avoid this place. The Booking.com listing calls these luxury rooms, but it felt more like a hostel for backpackers with very low expectations. The rooms smelled like an old people’s nursing home, with musty blankets, worn furniture, and mattresses that had bedbugs. My legs were covered in bites when I woke up. Upstairs, the bathroom and shower are down the hall, outside the room. The place looked as if the last maintenance was done in the 50s. The living room had one sofa facing an empty closet where the TV should be, plus a plastic garden table and chairs. There was no other furniture or decoration. The ACs didn’t work, and there was no wifi. I found dirty dishes and frying pans in the cabinets. There wasn’t the garden view shown in the listing: the garden was untended, the host’s laundry was drying there, and the back area had old rusty scrap metal. I felt like I’d risk getting scabs and lice bites if I stayed.

We didn’t stay and had to find somewhere else, but our money wasn’t refunded. The location was okay, but the owners were rude. Booking.com should remove the listing because it gives totally misleading information. This place needs to be inspected. Zero stars from me. Don’t waste your money. The wifi and TV didn’t work, the place smelled moldy and old, and the fridge was dirty. Everything had a strange, old smell. Horrible, horrible place. Shame on Booking.com for keeping it listed.

The owner was very nice and tried to accommodate me, but I chose not to stay. The kitchen was dirty and smelled bad, and the place had no style. The rooms I saw felt like prison cells. The photos make it look fabulous, so don’t be fooled. If you have no other option, it may be minimally okay. It’s more of an “Adult Hostel” than an Airbnb, with over six rooms, a shared kitchen, a shared bathroom and shower closet, and long-term travelers. If you’re at all picky, choose somewhere else.
