Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast

The food was a huge part of our stay. Mrs. Cherry and Conroy made every meal with love, and everything tasted amazing. There were five of us, including my wife and me, our mother, pops, and our niece. We arrived as strangers, but Andrea and Mark, the owners, had us feeling like family by the time we left. The warmth, laughter, and conversations made it feel like more than a place to sleep. We were at Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast from December 22-29, and the welcome was open-hearted from the start. The atmosphere and hospitality made such lovely memories for us. We plan to return in July, so save us a room! It's the kind of place you want to tell everyone about and also keep as your own little secret. If you're considering booking, go for it.

The rooms are roomy, and the air conditioning keeps things cool. With the decor and amenities, I honestly felt like I was back home in Florida. Andrea was so welcoming and accommodating. When I'm in Lucea, or traveling from St Elizabeth toward the airport, I can see myself stopping here. It's about 40 minutes from the airport, compared with a 2-3 hour trip.

The lodging, travel, tours, spa, and food all added to a great stay, and the hospitality was lovely too. Blue Paloma gave us a relaxing vacation as well as a cultural experience, and we left feeling refreshed. It's become our regular place when we visit Jamaica. Thanks to everyone for making the visit so good. We're already looking forward to coming back.

The stay felt personal, with a relaxed family atmosphere where I learned a lot about the island's traditions, culture, and food from the other guests, including Jamaicans visiting from across the island and from abroad. My daughter and I spent four days at Blue Paloma, and we even had game and movie nights. Andrea and the caretakers knew a lot and helped us arrange excursions around the island. When I had an unexpected extra night during a layover, they went above and beyond to look after me. Dino was a great escort. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and peaceful, with an outdoor balcony leading to the pool and grounds. At times we could enjoy that area privately, without resort crowds. Airport service was provided both ways. The chef prepared two fresh, delicious Jamaican meals each day, with locally sourced ingredients and produce from the grounds. Breakfast was three courses and filling enough to last most of the day, and dinner was wonderful, served family style. I'm looking forward to staying at their new property, Blue Paloma on the sea, once construction is finished.
