The hosts were easy to reach and offered to help with transport or anything else we needed. We mostly explored on our own, though. My husband and I stayed here briefly before our wedding because our resort was booked. The home was clean, comfortable, quaint, and had cool air conditioning. It was close to Hard Rock Beach, and we loved eating at the Yacht Club. We felt the area was safe. Vendors or dealers nearby left us alone when we said no, unless we were interested in what they had. I'd recommend the place to couples, solo guests, and other travelers.

We felt safe in the gated condo, and it was clean and cozy inside. There are two pools and lots of outdoor seating where you can take in the scenery. Restaurants are nearby, and it's only a short drive to the hip strip and local grocery store. The view is beautiful, too. We'll be back.

I had a really positive stay and would book again with Ilya and his team when I'm back in Jamaica. They were responsive from booking right through to checkout, and arranged for Al to pick me up and take me back to the airport. He was very professional. The unit is small but clean, which mattered most to me. It's a good value if you want a quiet, safe area without all the bells and whistles. Hard Walk Cafe is a big plus, just a 10-minute walk away.

The local grocery store is walkable, so we could buy food and cook instead of paying too much for mediocre meals at big chain places. There's free local beach access at the Hard rock, while other public beaches charge $30 per trip. The peninsula felt safe, a relief after feeling targeted and hustled in downtown montego bay. As an adventurous couple who like exploring other cultures without fully immersing ourselves, this Airbnb was a blessing and became a haven for us. We recommend it as a temporary home.

We felt safe here, and the rental was a great value for our time in Mobay. The last two days were rainy, but there were covered areas, places to sit, and a pool pavilion where we could still enjoy being outside. We ate at HRC and the HouseBoat nearby. Both meals were good, though the HouseBoat was especially quiet and romantic, with fresh food cooked to order. The beach access to HRC was lovely, with clean sand, pretty shells and coral, and a rocky point to walk out on. The complex has a nostalgic feel, lovely gardens and walkways, tropical plants, friendly people, and a gorgeous pool beside the bay and boats. Check-in was easy, and our clean, cool efficiency had what we needed. When we couldn't get the cable TV working, the number provided got us help over the phone. There's a driver number available and taxis around. We, the Purkeys, will return.
