The view from the property earned the one star I gave it. I booked through another site, but Evelin, who is actually in Germany, didn't communicate with me after I arrived until I contacted Vrbo about my problems. The listing made it look like the whole home was included, but the photos showed only half of the home. The dryer was listed as an amenity but wasn't there, and the listing didn't say that multiple rentals share the pool and ocean access. It also didn't mention the 24/7 staff living on the property. They would appear outside or nearby while we were trying to have some solitude, which we didn't get. It felt weird, almost like having paid babysitters. Other people would also turn up to hang out with the staff. There's a radio station on the property, and music would play at random times during the day and night. The bathroom towels were white but stained. My family and I left a week early because of all this. Evelin said none of it was a valid reason to end the stay early. No privacy. Beware of false advertising!

There are three rental options: a three bedroom, three bath house; a four bedroom, four bath house; and a studio 1 bedroom unit. The three bedroom house is a good fit for 7 occupants. The homes were clean and well kept, with spacious, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, clean towels, and full size kitchens for preparing meals. The staff live on the property and are there to help make your stay enjoyable. They also offer transportation and an on-site chef for an additional fee. There's a pool and plenty of places to lounge in the Jamaican sun, plus easy access to the ocean and beach. Bring snorkeling gear if you want to explore the reef in this area. I highly recommend Triplets on the Bay for a Jamaica stay. You won't want to leave!

Triplets on the bay is one of the best places to stay in Montego Bay, if not the best. The staff, atmosphere, and vibes are amazing. I felt so relaxed there, almost like I'd left my body behind, and coming home from the trip, I realized I'd never felt more relaxed. It feels completely different from an all-inclusive resort. When I go on vacation, I don't want to stay somewhere that feels just like a hotel in America. At Triplets on the bay, you feel almost native to the island. Papa D, T-man, mafia Dwayne, and Martin helped make the experience unforgettable. Talking with each of them felt natural and relaxing, which means a lot coming from someone who's socially awkward. If I had to recommend somewhere to stay for a true Jamaican experience, this would be it.

The ocean view from the living room and patios was beautiful, and even with high tides most days, we still enjoyed our stay. The rooms in the three-bedroom, three-bath unit were a good size, though the beds were quite hard. We had expected the four-bedroom place, and also thought the beach was private and that we could walk across the sand into the water. Not so! The staff, especially Papa D, T-Man, A.J. and Martin, were lovely, helpful, and cheerful, which made things nicer. We stayed a week and had to buy groceries and toilet paper ourselves. The day we arrived, the owner Evelyne said she had miscalculated and that we owed another $825. She'd had 10 months to tell us, so it felt very unprofessional. Confirm the total and the unit before you arrive.
