Beachcomber Club Resort

The owner managed to keep water running most of the time while the town system was under repair and many places had no water. The hotel is right on the beach, just a short step into the water, with a grocery store across the street to the left and Vinnie's Grill and Bar down to the right. When we were there in February 2023, there wasn't a restaurant open on site, though one and a bar were expected soon. The small pool was closed for repairs, and I hope it gets fixed soon. If all you want is to get away and relax, this is a good spot. The owner and staff make a real effort to make you feel at home. It’s become one of my favorite getaways, and I hope to return soon. Please respect the land and the people if you stay here.

I loved this relaxing place and will be back next year. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and always helpful. Just ask them about the island. The bar and food were great, and they were ready to serve anytime or bring things to your room. No complaints at all. Respect.

The beach is amazing, and the location alone gets five stars from me. It’s peaceful, with plenty of places on either side along 7Mile Beach if you’re looking for more noise, including Margaritaville right next door. The locals on the beach were a real treat, especially Patty man, who brought lunch every day. The resort food was good enough, even if it could’ve been better, and our room had everything we wanted. From the moment we arrived, everyone who worked there greeted us warmly. They were some of the nicest people I’ve met. I left wishing I could stay longer and can’t wait to come back.

The place could use some sprucing up, especially the landscaping and paint in the main areas. The rooms are adequate and the food is okay. What made it a four-star stay for me was the great, hospitable staff.
