Beaches Negril Resort - ALL INCLUSIVE

The way our butlers looked after us made this trip unforgettable. Anthony personally picked us up and walked us to dinner, arranged our napkins, filled our waters and even took our drink orders before the waiter arrived. He always made sure my 4-year-old had a special drink she liked, and she absolutely adored him. His kindness and attention to her meant a lot to our family. Tawani and Anthony both went above and beyond, taking care of every detail so thoughtfully. Before we left, the staff came out and sang to us. It was an emotional goodbye, and we were all in tears, not wanting to leave such a beautiful, magical place. We’ll always remember how loved and welcome we felt, and the family memories from our stay. We can’t wait to return, and I’d highly recommend the resort to families. Our Jamaica stay was amazing from the moment we arrived. Everyone made us feel at home, and the hospitality and attention to detail went beyond what we expected.

The standout part of our departure was Nickesha. After checkout at 11:00 a.m., our shuttle wasn't due until 2:00 p.m., and she noticed our son was exhausted. She found an empty room so he could rest, then came to the bus herself to wish us safe travels. Such a gem. We’d initially been a little worried by the hurricane news, but the resort looked immaculate, with no sign a storm had passed. We just had our best family holiday so far, a week at Beaches Negril with our two kids, aged 9 and 11. We’d last been when they were toddlers and had visited other islands and resorts since, but this reminded us why we think it's unmatched for families and has no equal as an all-inclusive for all ages. Our Tropical Oversized Concierge Family Suite was exactly as pictured, clean, stocked and just right for us, with even a small ocean view from the balcony. The private transfer was seamless, and we were greeted with cool cloths, drinks and smiles. The beach was pristine and constantly cared for, with shallow water great for kids, plenty of chairs and excellent service. Vendors never bothered us. The pools were clean and the right temperature, and the slides and lazy river were in good shape without feeling crowded. Food was the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive. Jerk Shack was our favorite lunch, Soy was exceptional, especially the sushi, and every restaurant did a good job. Staff happily worked with the kids’ food preferences, and YoYo’s frozen yogurt was a daily must. The entertainment was the best we’ve seen at a resort, professional and engaging for everyone. The Sesame Street parade was interactive and loads of fun. A perfect 10/10 week. We’re already planning to return, and this time won’t look anywhere else.

The beach was perfect, and the resort has an easygoing charm despite feeling a bit dated. We made wonderful family memories here, and it's one of the best resorts for little ones. The staff were warm and attentive throughout, with a level of service that clearly comes from a lot of effort put into the resort’s service culture. Food was the one repeated letdown. With the high prices and standards elsewhere, the dining experience fell well short and didn't feel worth the premium. That’s why I’ve given four stars instead of five. The staff and service made up for a lot, though, and better food and restaurants would bring the place close to perfect.

We loved our stay at Beaches Negril, set on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It’s a great resort for families and couples. If you’re a couple looking to avoid children, Sandals is a better fit. The room in the Savannah building had an ocean view and was great. The food, rooms and staff were all great, and YAKU, SOY and The Mill were our favorite restaurants. Lesmore at The Mill, Donovan and Montoya from Concierge, Garfield at The Mill, and Charlene and Shauntel at the front desk all helped make our stay memorable. Our only suggestion is that Sandals/Beaches add smart TVs to the rooms. It’s time. Otherwise, it’s an amazing place.
