Little Bay Country Club

I haven’t been to Jamaica myself yet, but my friend went and kindly brought back a Silvernaire for me. It’s a beautiful magnet with lovely colors, and I love it. From what I’ve heard and seen, Jamaica looks beautiful. I hope I can visit one day.

My favorite place was the outdoor deck, where I could have coffee in the morning or wine as the sun went down over the water. The ocean views from the big windows were stunning, and there was plenty of natural light. The home has a modern but cozy feel, comfortable beds, a spacious living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. It was spotless when we arrived, and the hosts had clearly worked to make the stay easy. The Sapphire is definitely a gem.

We stayed for 10 days, and had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags ourselves. The unit also lacked mixing bowls and casserole dishes, which made storing food difficult, and there was no dishwasher. Some things were broken. The rooms were okay, nothing special, and I’m not a fan of the split mini units. The living room AC leaked onto the couch and flooded the floor. The location was out of the way, with nowhere walkable, and transportation and food were expensive.

The views from our condo were awesome, and the gated community has a great pool and private beach with wonderful snorkeling. Getting supplies was difficult, though: there’s no food delivery and most places don’t take cards. Stock up, stay in, and enjoy. Don’t miss the forest path to the bigger beach.
