Secluded Studio@Sky Castles, Columbus Heights, Ocho Rios

My family and I felt safe and relaxed the whole time, and the clean pool was refreshing. The apartment is stunning, with gorgeous ocean views, and it’s close to attractions and amenities. Booking was easy, and communication with the owner was good. We’ll definitely book again.

Rooms are reasonably priced, and ours was a decent size with a good beach view. The beach was only a stone’s throw from our room, C18. It’s self catering throughout, though you can buy meals at the on site restaurant. Staff were friendly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and Dunns River and Mystic Mountains are close as well. Laundry service is available, but it isn’t run by Sandcastle. Cleaners only tidy the room and replace towels if you ask or leave the room key at reception. Apparently, each room gets only one key.

The steep hill can be a lot in the heat, so a taxi is helpful. It costs 1000 JMD from the main street. I had a great time and would recommend the place, but there are plenty of pools because some are cleaner than others. The views from the top are great, and the place has lots of vibes and culture. People are friendly. Peter the owner and his wife Sharon at block C were great. They answered all my questions quickly, cleaned the room nicely, and were very friendly. I’ll definitely go back. The cats walking around were very cute.

The staff did a very excellent job of looking after guests, and the rooms were clean and in good condition. The ambiance matched what they advertised. It was definitely worth my money, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested. You won’t be disappointed.
