The area was very quiet while I was there, with no gunshots or emergency sirens. The building lobby and apartment hallways were clean and well kept, and security is at the gate. Outside, though, the property could use some care. There was rubbish and broken glass on the beach, though I did see some guys cleaning it up on my third day. There’s nothing close enough to walk to for food, groceries, or a pharmacy if you have health issues. If you’re healthy, the walk isn’t too bad. For visitors from the US, there’s an app called indrive for taxis, similar to Uber or Lyft. This isn’t a place for the usual lively nightlife or activities.

I booked a two-bedroom Airbnb and ended up with dozens of unexpected roommates. The rats were noisy and roaches were everywhere. Shan, the host for room 111, and I had a small misunderstanding, then she had three big security guards put us out. Please be careful with this place and that woman. I still haven’t received a receipt.

The view was magnificent, and the pool was lovely. It was very nice and quiet too. I’d definitely book again.

The pool was clean, and the place was okay. But the bay needs cleaning. I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the sand because there could be glass.
