City View Hotel

Nikki helped bring the wedding we dreamed of to life. She kept in touch throughout the planning, offered ideas, answered our questions, and helped everything run smoothly on the day. The whole team made us feel welcome. One staff member even made sure my spouse and I had extra food and water that night. After all the nerves and excitement, couples can be really hungry on their wedding night, and she looked out for us. I wish I’d gotten her name.

The reception space was nicely decorated in the bride and groom’s gold and green colors, and the staff were friendly and served us with smiles. The meal tasted great, though I would’ve liked it warmer. The view was stunning that rainy afternoon, with a beautiful sunset too. I only came for the 4 p.m. wedding reception, so I can’t say what the rooms are like. The property seemed small from the entrance, with a little lobby leading to the reception area. The asphalt ground is sloped and uneven, so heels are a hazard. Flats or sandals are a better choice. Mannings Hill road gets extremely narrow after Havendale, and there was a section where the land had slipped away. Take care, especially at night. I had a good experience and would recommend checking the hotel out.

The food was wonderful, especially the mutton, and we loved the room we stayed in on our wedding night so much that we didn’t want to leave. Everyone was welcoming and treated our guests well. From the start of planning through our wedding day on April 13, 2024, things went excellently. Nicky did a great job and kept reaching out. We chose City View Hotel for our wedding after the lovely hospitality we experienced there last year, when I proposed to my wife. The scenic views were part of what we liked too. My wife and I were treated exceptionally well for our ceremony. Many thanks to the team, especially Mr. Bent and Nicki, for hosting us and making the day happen.
