Jakes

The place itself is beautiful, but I have a serious concern about what happened after a wish lantern was launched from Jakes on New Year’s Eve. Its remains were floating near the pier on January 1 and 2. French tourists volunteered to collect the debris, but management neither stopped the environmentally harmful practice nor helped with the cleanup by providing tools or supporting the guests. Some staff said it was their day off and watched from a distance while others struggled to pull wires and paper from the water. No one stopped the launch, and no one made sure the sea was cleaned afterward. It's surprising that Jakes, whose main attraction is its direct sea access, didn't take responsibility. I truly appreciate the tourists who used snorkel masks and did their best to gather the remains. Their efforts highlight the administration's lack of care and the urgent need for Jakes to protect the natural environment guests come to enjoy.

We had the best time! The food was amazing, the staff were the friendliest, and everything looked beautiful. Melissa got nothing on Jake’s. It bounced back better than ever. Amazing job. Don't think twice about going down there, it's amazing as ever and READY!

Treasure Beach feels authentic and off the beaten path, with easy access right next to Jake’s. Jack Sprat’s is next door and has some of the best seafood in the Caribbean. Jake’s itself is beautifully designed, with a stunning pool, bar, and garden. Every room and villa is unique, and the staff were all friendly. The food is great too. If you're after an all-inclusive resort, go to a different island. If you want to make the most of Jamaica, come here.

This iconic Treasure Beach resort has excellent sea views, and you can see dolphins frolicking in the distance. The chlorinated pool is lovely, and there's bar service.
