The balcony view was lovely, and we enjoyed the food, which was delicious and fairly priced. We arrived at Al-Jabal Castel Hotel on October 11 after a last-minute booking elsewhere fell through, and Kamal Alqudah and the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. We liked our stay enough to add a second night instead of leaving after one.

Good value, and I’d stay again. The new management has excellent food, and they turned around our laundry overnight. The place could use a little more atmosphere.

The food was amazing, and each dish tasted even better than the one before. Add the great service and best-in-class view, and it’s an easy recommendation for a half-day visit.

I keep coming back to Al Jabal Castle after staying at several hotels around Ajloun and Jerash. The staff are especially attentive, and some speak both English and German. There’s been plenty of renovation work, the facilities are nice, and the views take in the city and the Castle. The restaurant serves very good food, with local and international choices.

The tea we tried tasted awful, and the lack of hygiene was a serious concern. Service was nearly bad, and though breakfast was included in my booking, I left without even being asked whether they should prepare it. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I’ll never stay again.
