Al-Mujeb

The hotel is fairly typical, but I'd still choose it over the other nearby options. The room had a faint cigarette smell, and I'd check that the towel is clean before using it. The shower was broken, so I struggled while trying to shower.

The room was cold, but there were thick blankets to keep me warm, and I slept well. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming too. WiFi was weak unless you sat by the door, with the strongest signal in the hallway. Mujeb Hotel includes a good breakfast in the affordable price, and no complaints about the coffee! It covers a tourist's basic needs. I'd stay again.

I was glad to find a hotel in Karak since I travel there often and live in Amman, but the stay turned into a disaster. They showed me decent rooms before booking, yet the room I got was unsanitary and badly maintained. The sheets weren't clean, the bathroom was faulty, and an unpleasant smell seemed to fill the whole hotel. The towels looked used by the previous guest and hadn't been replaced, and I couldn't find any sanitary paper. It was cheap, but not worth the hassle. I wouldn't recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were great and very friendly, and the room was big and so clean. The bed was the best we've had in Jordan so far. Breakfast was good too. If you're visiting Al-Karak, this is the best option.
