We stayed two nights and found it very good for the price. The room was clean, the location worked well for us, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. One small hassle: the elevator only starts on the first floor, so you have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. The staff kindly helped with our luggage, which we really appreciated.

Really bad place. The room wasn't clean and smelled terrible. The guy took 27 dollars as a deposit, but never gave the money back. Very poor service.

The location near downtown Amman was very good, but I was disappointed by the hotel. We stayed two nights, in two different rooms under separate reservations, and the sheets hadn't been changed; the bathroom wasn't clean either. I asked the owner politely for clean sheets, and she reacted badly, insisting they'd been changed. When I pointed out hairs on the pillow, she finally brought me another pillow from a different room. I didn't appreciate sleeping on sheets other people had used, even though the hotel wasn't expensive, and I wasn't happy with the owner's reaction. I don't want to speak badly of them, but that's how it felt.

We had a great stay. It was inexpensive, comfortable, and close to the city centre. Nights got a little cold because there seemed to be an A/C problem. It's also right by the main street, so keep the noise in mind.

The owner was so friendly and welcoming that we arrived as tourists and left feeling like friends. The breakfast was nice, with bread, egg, falafel, and juice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the bed. There are lots of restaurants and shops right nearby. What's not to like?
