The location worked really well for us. Rainbow Street was walkable, as were shops, an exchange, bars, and restaurants. We felt safe, and it was about a 10-minute drive to the citadel and 35 minutes from the airport. Breakfast was adequate. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a big balcony as well as plenty of space. We’d definitely come back.

The Y Hotel felt peaceful, safe, and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. Our room was very clean and comfortable. You can tell the hotel is run with heart and purpose. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amman.

A very good place to start from, with free parking and a great spot right in the centre. The European breakfast was really good too. Very nice hotel, I definitely recommend it.

For the price, this is a great deal in Amman, and it’s fairly central. You can walk to all the main sights from here, or call an Uber if you want to go farther. The owner is incredibly kind and a lovely person to meet at the start of your holiday. One tip for anyone without much experience driving here: I’d avoid taking a rental car into Amman. The traffic is not easy at all.

Rainbow Street is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, from fast food to formal dining. The gentleman who works here was so helpful at check-in and carefully explained places to explore. He was also around in the morning making a good breakfast. Great service and value. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.
