Twins Downtown Hotel

We liked the location, and the staff were so accommodating. We'd come back next time.

Ask for Rasha at the front desk, she was helpful and gave us great service. Twins Downtown Hotel feels almost dreamlike inside, even though the building itself is 100 years old. It's a historic place to stay in Jordan, and this was my second visit in two years. I'd call it a 5 star hotel. Thanks, everyone! Wow, what a stay.

The price felt very fair, and street noise wasn't an issue for us at night or during the day. We found the beds comfortable and the room fairly clean, with a fridge, roomy bathroom, outlets by the beds, working AC, and a lift. There's also an outdoor bridge overlooking the street. In spite of the mixed opinions, our stay went quite well. I'd recommend it.

The previous owner seemed to care about the business, but this will be my last visit. I used to have a good stay here despite the noise; under the new management, the stairwells were full of rubbish and our room was dirty. There was no service unless you asked for cleaning and fresh sheets. The coffee maker was in the room, but it was so dusty you could write in the dust. We had to change rooms because there was no hot water, and the elevator stayed out of order until four days after I arrived. The manager even tried to stop a friend from visiting me. I didn't pay to feel like I was in prison; I expected the services that come with a hotel.
