Zaina Plaza Hotel

I stayed here for over two months, and for a two star hotel I think it deserves one more. Some negative reviews seem to expect five star accommodation for a budget price. The rooms were very good and clean, with everything I needed. If I wanted anything else, they were glad to help. It’s right downtown, with restaurants, bars, and a barbershop just steps away, and Rainbow street is a five minute walk. There were tourists from all over. At night, guests gathered in the lobby to chat, smoke Shisha, and have coffee. The shared kitchen beside the lobby was free to use for making snacks and had the basic things you need. The staff were so friendly. Abeer and the people on the other shifts were kind, welcoming, and helpful. The owner, Younis, has an office behind reception and was often around checking that everything was going well and asking if anyone needed something. He’s a very kind person. I really enjoyed my stay, and it was worth more than what I paid. Thanks to Younis and the staff for the warm hospitality. I’ll come back again and again.

It’s an old hotel, but the service is good and the location is even better. You’re near the 2nd circle, Rainbow street, and the city center. Groceries, services, coffee shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Good value whether you’re staying a short time or a long time.

The reception guys are warm and welcoming, and willing to help any time. The service is good too, but the furniture, including the bed covers, is old. I’d rate that part three out of five.

The room had enough space for what I needed, and the price was just right for a 15 night stay. The hotel was close to things, and the receptionist and the women who cleaned the rooms were really helpful. I was very happy with it and plan to come back in 2024.
