It was one of the cheapest options for anyone on a budget, and we booked at the last minute before arriving. The hotel was super cheap. There were a few cockroaches, and it wasn't especially clean. We had hot water in the evening, but only cold water in the morning.

Snorkeling near the small beach let us see beautiful corals on display. The hotel itself wasn't cleaned well and was pretty dirty, and it seemed mainly for Jordanian families. There are much nicer hotels 3km away toward aqaba. It was the only hotel where local people really stared at us like we were from another planet. That part was an experience of its own.

The beachside location is the real draw, with lovely, inexpensive cafes nearby where you can sit with a hookah and hear the sea at night. The hotel is extremely cheap, so the tiny rooms and uncomfortable beds aren't much of a surprise. The AC takes a while to cool down, though it does get reasonably cold. Everything seemed fairly clean, but you might still see a roach or two. For a one-night stay with a group of guys, it wasn't too bad.

The sea promenade is right outside, with cafes where you can sit, smoke shisha, and look out at the water. We were five friends staying for one night, and it felt like good value. There’s parking, and the host found us a suitable room. Hot water was available, and the room had blankets, toilet paper, and towels, though you have to ask for those things. Hygiene seemed reasonable for the price.

We left without spending even one night here. After finding a cockroach on the bed, we pulled the bed away from the wall and saw roach droppings all over behind it. The front desk acted as if it was no big deal and killed the roach. By then we were horrified and disgusted, so we left immediately. The rooms had already been a problem. Our first room was dusty, smelled awful, had a wet toilet seat, boogers on the wall, and human waste left in the shower. We asked for another room. The second bathroom looked cleaner at first, but the sink and toilet didn't look like they had been scrubbed in ages. We were exhausted, so we stayed, then found there was no toilet paper or towels. When my husband asked for towels, the man at the desk took two from a hamper and went into a back room. My husband heard him spraying air freshener on them. They were damp and clearly hadn't been washed. We worried the sheets might not have been changed either, and had to go into town to buy clean towels. At arrival, staff also acted like we had no reservation, even though we did. Avoid this filthy place.
