Don't expect a five-star luxury hotel. It's an authentic local place with clean rooms, basic comforts and great service. Earplugs are a good idea because there are lots of dogs. You don't really see them in the daytime, and they don't bother you, but they bark all night. Dana tower Hotel was a lovely find in the old Dana village, keeping its local charm. The hosts are great, friendly and helpful with information about nearby hikes. Salma, and Susu 😻 and Mingue 😻, were especially wonderful hosts, and Salma's a great cook. Breakfast was good, and dinner was one of our best meals in Jordan so far.

It feels like a very local hotel, and Hazem and Salem are the best. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing. It has everything to make you comfortable. Honestly, the best hotel in Jordan. Highly recommended.

The tea was overpriced and the serving was exceptionally small. I can't recommend it. We were glad we'd booked somewhere else, since this didn't seem like a place for authentic Jordanian hospitality. It's cheap for a reason.
