Petra Heritage House

I spent three nights in Muhammad’s home, and it was a very pleasant stay. I wanted somewhere safe, clean, and quiet to come back to after exploring Petra, and it met my expectations. It’s about a five-minute drive from the Petra visitor’s center. Muhammad keeps the place tidy and clean. He asked guests to leave their shoes outside and wear slippers in the bathroom.

I really enjoyed my time here. Muhammad was kind, friendly, and accommodating with everything I needed. The place is very clean, has all the essentials, and is in a great location. Thanks for your kindness, Muhammad. Hope to see you again sometime. Dom

If I could give this place no stars, I would. The owner lied about how much change I’d given him and robbed me. After I left three days early, he called me names and accused me of stealing things. I wish I still had the text messages to show what kind of owner he is. Don’t stay here.

The owner was friendly and attentive, and helped with anything I needed for getting around or arranging activities. The house was comfortable and clean, with good sleeping temperatures and a fan available if needed. Beds were comfortable too. The shower pressure was low but enough, towels were provided, and coffee and tea were free. It was a little hard to find the house the first time. Thanks so much, Mohamed!
