Petra Moon Hotel

The kunafa at the hotel was incredible, one of the highlights of my stay. The food in general was delicious, and the service stayed attentive, professional, and friendly throughout. My room had everything I needed, and the whole property was spotless. It’s in a lovely setting with breathtaking views. I’d recommend it for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Abdallah at reception was always ready to help and made us feel at home. He knows his job well, and we were glad to meet him. You can ask him anything about Petra. We arrived not knowing what to expect and ended up having one of our best stays. The hotel is right by the visitor center and Petra entrance. The clean, cozy rooms have hot water at all times, which is welcome after hiking, and a fairly large smart TV. They also provide traditional Jordanian desserts, soft drinks, and travel-size products from the Dead Sea. You can pay for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the hotel. We didn’t try breakfast or dinner, but did order room service once, and the food was good with generous portions. I recommend eating here because it’s hard to find good food in the Petra area. The restaurants around here are bland and overpriced. If I come back to Petra, I know where I’ll stay.

It’s about a five-minute walk to the Petra visitor center, which made it easy to head to Petra at 6:30 in the morning. I’d stay here again if I visit. Mr. Abdullah at reception was kind and listened to what I asked for. The bellboy Mohaed and restaurant manager abdlrhman Man were also very nice. My room was clean, and the bed, sofa, and bathroom were comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious, with a good variety at dinner.

The staff were professional and respectful, with a special mention for Emad (F&B manager), who did a great job. The hotel is just outside the Petra entrance and offers excellent value for the price. Highly recommended! Highly recommended
