Rum Oasis Luxury Camp

The bubble rooms have a fantastic location and breathtaking views, and the food is incredibly delicious. Staff are very friendly, and you can book activities at reception, including stargazing, camel rides, 4x4 trips, and balloon rides. A few things could be better. The bathroom needs some maintenance, especially the shower, and the in-room coffee and tea station could use an upgrade. Missing basics like tissue boxes and soap also seemed to get overlooked, though room service can address these issues.

It’s cool, though not exactly luxurious. My only issue was the lighting in the room. Even with both the lamp and main light on, it was so dim that it made me feel like I was in a hospital.

The landscape is beautiful, and you can watch the sunrise from your bed. It’s also a great spot for exploring Wadi Rum on foot by yourself. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the service was amazing, and the food was really tasty. There were more food choices than I’ve seen at any other hotel in Jordan.

We only stayed one night at Rum Oasis. The location and view were fabulous, and both the service and food were great. But I don’t think the camp should be called “luxury.” The room was basic and very cold, and the bathroom was dated and needed a light above the mirror. The shower floor was very slippery, with no rubber mat inside or bath mat to step onto afterwards. I fell while reaching for the towel, which felt too far away, and there was nothing secure to stand on. There should be hooks near the shower and mats on the floor. I hope they address these problems.
