The camp has a great view and friendly hosts, and we enjoyed chatting with them over dinner and tea. One of the staff made traditional Bedouin bread while we sat around the fireplace. Our two-hour jeep tour in the morning was a fun, worthwhile addition to being in the desert. For one of the cheapest options around, it has what you need, but be ready to rough it a little. The rooms were clean and comfortable, while the bathroom wasn’t. Since we stayed only one night and nobody needed to shower, it didn’t bother us much. There aren’t any amazing amenities, just somewhere to sleep and use the bathroom, plus a large Bedouin-style common room with a fireplace. Dinner was okay, and nobody got sick from it, alhamdulillah. They had water bottles for us, but we brought our own too. It’s always a good idea to bring enough clean water to any camp in wadi rum. If you’re after a cheap stay in a great location with welcoming hosts, this is a good option.
