Hotel Akita Goshono

The rooms are big, bigger than I expected.

Very good.

Pretty average hotel, but it’s clean and I have no complaints about that. The breakfast is included and there’s a lot to eat, though it feels like a huge commercial-style spread. Voices carry loudly in the hallways, so keep that in mind if you have children.

I stayed here while taking my entrance exams. The free Japanese breakfast was delicious, and the huge parking lot was a relief since I’m not very good at parking. It’s close to the airport, with a supermarket and convenience store within walking distance. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a toothbrush near the front desk, but no lotion or other toiletries, so bring your own.
