We booked through Booking.com and had a really special stay. We got a warm welcome, fresh towels each day, and lots of useful tips. I'd recommend it to visitors from Japan and abroad.

There are useful basics in the kitchen, but no seasonings. The microwave can also work as a toaster oven, and there’s a kettle and coffee maker, plus instant coffee and black tea. No coffee beans or green tea. A teapot, ice bucket, thermos, and candy on the table were there too. The place was reasonably priced, clean, spacious, and had a lovely garden. For stays of several nights, they changed the towels and cleaned the bathroom. The furnishings seem to reflect the owner's taste, and there’s just one Japanese-style room with a TV. A good choice for staying in Amami❣️

It’s rented to one group at a time, so you get the whole guesthouse to yourselves. The owners are very kind, and there’s a supermarket nearby.

A very quiet spot in a residential area, with a kind owner and really clean rooms.
