Getting to Hotel Route-Inn Aomori Chūō Interchange (Hotel Route-Inn Aomori Chuo Interchange) was easy by car, with convenient access from the interchange. The rooms are clean, practical and simply furnished, and the basic toiletries were handy. Shower pressure was good, though I would have liked it a little stronger. The bathroom has separate hot and cold taps, as in other Route-Inn hotels. A mixer tap would be better, since you waste water waiting for the temperature to settle. Breakfast comes with the stay and had a satisfying selection. I also appreciated the free lobby coffee, especially in the morning or after a long drive. It's a reliable, good-value place with comfortable basics and useful extras. A few changes to the bathroom taps would improve it.

The staff were all nice, and the hotel provides instructions in English. They clearly try to offer good service to everyone. For the price, Hotel Route-inn is amazing. It's convenient, clean and cheap, though obviously not a resort. Rooms are small, but there's plenty of space for the basic things you need. The hotel onsen is a little small, but fairly new and has the shampoo, hairdryer and other things you'll need. Women have to ask for an Onsen pass to enter, which helps keep the women's area private from men. Breakfast is buffet style and better than a Motel 6 or Super 8. The hotel also has a restaurant that opens around 6pm. The prices are reasonable, and I had beef donburi. The selection is a bit limited. If you speak Japanese, ask for the special menu; otherwise they'll have you point to pictures.
