Onsenyado Ogasawara Aso

Eating and bathing in my room with my dog was the best part, since we could be together the whole time. The room had its own private hot spring, so I could bathe whenever I liked. It was quiet, surrounded by greenery, with fresh air and birdsong, and a lovely way to unwind. The inn is very close to Aso Station. I’d booked for two through Jalan, but about a week beforehand it suddenly became just me and my dog. I called right away, and they kindly changed the booking and were incredibly helpful. My dog is used to traveling, so that part was fine, but I was a little nervous on my own. The wonderful staff helped me relax and enjoy the stay, and I’m truly grateful. There are lots of dog runs, including one on the hilltop with a fantastic view. I’d love to stay again.

The big dog run had lights at night, so we could enjoy the day together without being separated from my dog. I was very satisfied that I could stay with my dog and share dinner and breakfast in a semi-private dining room. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.

There’s a shared bath just for pets, and you can reserve and order food for your dog in the evening. Our dog can join us for breakfast and dinner, and there’s a dog run too. The food is delicious, and the private hot spring in the room is lovely for relaxing with family. The staff are so kind. We’re repeat guests and will definitely be back next year.
