The car park is huge, with plenty of space for everyone. The hotel feels new and was very clean, and the front desk staff were thoughtful and attentive.

I went on a Sunday evening and had lots of room to relax since it wasn't busy. The place isn't especially big, but with the washing stations set along the walls and nothing in the center, it feels open and is easy to move around. The building and baths were clean and well cared for, like they get a thorough clean. There are lockers for valuables just outside the bath entrance, in front of the curtain, though the changing room itself has no lockable lockers. I counted around 7-8 washing stations. The baths are a large 41-degree hot bath in the middle, a 39-degree jacuzzi on the right that fits about three, and a lukewarm cold bath on the left for about two, plus a sauna for roughly three people. The cold bath wasn't too cold, and the hot spring felt just right. It was a really great bath. Adults: 400 yen 2026.5.17

That cigarette smell on the stair landing was pretty disappointing, especially since smoking is supposed to be prohibited inside. It didn't seem to be coming from a guest room, so I don't think a guest was responsible. For the price, though, I was satisfied.

The room was tidy and comfortable for two, and the accommodation didn't feel like an old hotel. There were complimentary drinks, including coffee, tea, and beef soup. The soup was delicious, and it was a nice touch. I checked in April 2026. Getting there by car was easy with navigation, though the nearest 7-Eleven is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel has just two floors, with the restaurant downstairs and rooms upstairs. There's no elevator, so keep that in mind if you're elderly or have a disability.

The water left my skin feeling smooth. It was only slightly viscous, dried quickly, and didn't leave any sticky feeling. The spring is a mild sodium bicarbonate/sodium chloride type: hypotonic, weakly alkaline, and low-temperature at 26.4℃, with pH 8.2 and 655mg. It's almost colorless, clear, tasteless, and odorless. I finally got to visit on August 27, 2025, a Wednesday, at 1:00 PM, after passing by several times and being curious about the cute name. It always seemed to be closed on Mondays before. Uzura Onsen itself opened in 1995. The accommodation was renovated from the end of last year and reopened on February 14th of this year with a stylish Scandinavian look. I was very satisfied with my visit. Day-use hours are 1 PM to 9 PM, and adults pay a reasonable 400 yen. Payment is probably cash only, and there doesn't seem to be a set closing time for check-in. There's no shoe locker or locker in the changing room, but free lockers for valuables are just outside it. Amenities include body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The soap was DHC's olive green "In-Bath"; the Panasonic negative-ion "Ionity" hairdryer costs 10 yen per minute. The indoor bath area has nine faucets, a natural hot spring bath, a regular hot-water bubble bath, a dry sauna, and a cold plunge pool. There are tatami seating areas and sofas to relax on. The Chinese restaurant attached to the facility used to take diners, but now it's reservation-only and no longer accepts day visitors.
