I wouldn’t stay here again. The room, open bath, service, food, and price were all bad, not even okay. The only good thing is that it’s right by the sea. I noted in the reservation that I wanted a higher-floor sea-view room for our anniversary, but I ended up on the lowest floor with no sea view, facing the staircase of the next building.

The food was impressive, and I really liked breakfast. I’m curious about the dining options, too. The room itself was nice and had an open-air bath, but the view was disappointing. We were on the side, looking at pigeons and a building under construction. It was interesting to see karaoke, though I was sad there were no pools this season. There’s an extra onsen tax, but I can’t remember how much. I’d still consider booking this nice hotel again. I was also a little disappointed that many shops were closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

The only good part was the outdoor bathtub. I won’t stay at this hotel again. The breakfast was awful. I booked because I wanted to relax, but each group had a strictly fixed breakfast time. Ours was probably 7:45 to 8:15. If you arrived at 8:00, you’d have just 15 minutes to eat, nothing like a general 6:00 to 9:00 breakfast window. The food wasn’t tasty either; almost everything was cold and bland. I’d booked a sea-view room, but from the window I could only see a mountain and a building. When I complained, the staff said that was what they meant by a sea view. Funny!

The location is very convenient, and the balcony’s open-air bath is nice. Breakfast was good overall. The view isn’t directly out over the water, but it’s still good.
