We had a great stay, and the staff were all kind and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The room’s view was amazing, as were the private bath and the outdoor baths you can reserve for yourself at no extra charge. The food was fantastic too. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Atami.

The hotel sits on a mountain, so the roads wind and you may see the odd bug outside. The staff were happy to help, and the food was fantastic. I had a really lovely stay and would recommend it.

The traditional building is beautiful, and the room had an incredible private bath on the patio. You can also book a much larger private onsen without paying extra. We felt very well looked after. The staff were kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They even picked us up and dropped us at the train station in pouring rain. Neither of us speaks Japanese, but they took the time to explain the fresh, wonderful breakfast and dinner. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The seafood looked fantastic and was very fresh, though a little plain for my taste. It’s also on the pricey side. The onsen itself is beautiful, with a private bath in the room as well as two larger bathhouses.
